This Privacy Policy explains how the All Video Downloader & Home app for Android (the "App"), published by Jay Ambe Infotech ("we", "us"), handles information. The App is free and supported by advertising. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Summary
- The App has no accounts or sign-in, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
- When you download a video, the link you entered is sent to our download server so it can find the video file.
- Downloaded videos, saved statuses and your download history stay on your device.
- Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which collects device information such as the advertising ID to show and measure ads.
- The App does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to process your data.
1. Information we process
Links you submit. When you tap Downloads, the Instagram, Facebook or X (Twitter) link in the link field is sent to our download server, which looks up the public video file for that post and returns a download address. The video file is then downloaded directly to your device from the content delivery network that hosts it. We use the link only to complete your request.
Technical information. Like any internet service, our servers receive your device's IP address and basic request details (such as the time of the request) when the App contacts them. The App also contacts our configuration server at start-up to get the current advertising settings; this request contains the App's name, not information about you.
Clipboard. The App reads your clipboard only when you tap the Paste button, to put the copied link into the link field. It does not read the clipboard in the background.
Information we do not collect. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise or approximate location, or the content of your messages.
2. Information stored on your device
- Downloaded videos are saved to the Movies/VideoDownloader folder on your device and appear in your gallery.
- Download history (link, title, status and file location) is kept in the App's private storage so it can be shown on the Downloads screen.
- Settings such as your chosen language are stored in the App's private storage.
- WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business statuses. If you choose to use the Status Saver, you select the status folder yourself using Android's folder picker. The App only reads that folder on your device to show the statuses, and copies a status to your gallery only when you tap Save. Statuses are never uploaded.
This information is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by deleting the videos, clearing the App's data, or uninstalling the App.
3. Advertising
The App shows ads (app-open, banner, native and interstitial ads) using Google AdMob, part of Google Mobile Ads. To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, app usage and ad interactions, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Ads may be personalised based on this information, depending on your device settings and where you live.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices). You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

4. Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
Videos are downloaded from the sites you choose (Instagram, Facebook, X) and from the content delivery networks that host their files. Those sites are operated by their owners, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
5. Permissions the App uses
- Internet and network state: to find and download videos and to load ads.
- Notifications: to show download progress and when a download has finished.
- Foreground service: so a download can finish even if you leave the App.
- Read videos / storage: to show the videos you have downloaded on the All Videos screen.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only:
- with the service providers described above (such as Google AdMob), to run the App and its ads;
- when required by law, for example to comply with a court order or other legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
7. Data retention
Links you submit are used to complete your download request. Server request logs, which may include IP addresses and submitted links, are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service and are then deleted. Information stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the App.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your choices and rights
- You can stop all information processing by the App by uninstalling it.
- You can delete downloaded videos and your download history from your device at any time.
- You can control ad personalisation through your device's ad settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below to make a request.
11. Copyright
Only download content that you own or have permission to save. You are responsible for respecting the copyright and terms of the sites you download from.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated policy is posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated. Please review this page periodically.
